Boys’ Co launches J.Lindeberg
The 21st Century lifestyle brand’s first shop in Vancouver

This spring, Boys’ Co. launched its first J.Lindeberg shop directly adjacent to its newly renovated store in Metropolis at Metrotown, in Burnaby, B.C.
“J.Lindeberg has a Scandinavian-design sensibility, infused with a rock ‘n’ roll soul that inspires individuality,” says David Goldman, owner of Boys’ Co. “With the opening of this store, we’re excited to showcase the broad scope of the entire J.Lindeberg 21st Century lifestyle, from logo-driven hoodies and tees to cutting-edge suitings.”
The 700 square foot store showcases all aspects of the J.Lindeberg lifestyle including: J.L Tailoring, J.L. Sportswear, J.L. Golf and J.L. Accessories. Next door, the newly redesigned 1,500 square foot space showcases top men’s brands like Hugo Boss, John Richmond, Pringle of Scotland, True Religion, Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Audigier and more.
“We wanted to create two distinct, yet complimentary environments,” explains David. “Both concepts have their own look and branded entrance but inside they’re designed to encourage a free-flow of traffic between them.”
Simplistic yet striking best describes the design lead by architect, Christopher Bozyk. At J.Lindeberg the white interior gleams with accents of red. A high gloss drop ceiling hangs above an Italian tile floor. Natural textures of leather and wood are also skilfully incorporated. Next door at Boys’ Co., the palette is darker with charcoal grey walls and gun-metal fixtures. Both stores expertly punctuate the clothes hanging inside.
Since opening its first location in Oakridge Centre in 1984, Boys’ Co. now operates 4 men’s lifestyle stores: 1044 Robson Street and Oakridge Centre in Vancouver, B.C., Richmond Centre in Richmond, B.C. and Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby, B.C.
