One thing to note, however, is that Kanye does not abide to the standard rules of dressing for warmer weather. For example, finding a picture of Mr. West in a pair of shorts is quite the challenge. These looks give you a glimpse at what his interpretation of summer fashion is, which usually incorporates light washed denim, oversized t-shirts and chelsea boots. Digging through Kanye Wests outfits over the years, one thing becomes apparent. The man does not like wearing shorts. This outfit is no different but also takes it a step further by wearing a pair of Timberland 6inch boots. Up top he's wearing one of his own concert merch t-shirts, black waxed jeans, and accessorized with a thin gold necklace.
This next one is definitely one of our favourite summertime outfits Kanye has pulled off. Here he's spotted wearing a crisp short sleeve white button up. He takes the sleeves up another notch by rolling them slightly above the cuff. Down below he's wearing a pair of slim fit washed denim with extra length at the bottom for a stacked effect. The chelsea boots match the rest of the outfit perfectly and result in a smart casual summer look.
Here's another Kanye look with a pair of light washed denim. This time around, the jeans are heavily distressed which result in more of a street aesthetic. Up top he's wearing a buttoned henley shirt in a washed out colourway which transition down to the jeans nicely. He's completed the look with a pair of moccasin-inspired suede sneakers from Visvim.
Another simple but effective outfit featuring his Air Yeezy 2's from back in his Nike days. Here he's spotted wearing a pair of black waxed denim and a loose fitting blue t-shirt. The sharp green and pink accents on the sneakers contrast with the otherwise mute outfit. In this scenario, less is more.
A great way of keeping the heat out during the summer is to wear lighter colours. Here's the perfect example. Kanye takes it a step further by wearing a thin and distressed t-shirt up top, distressed white jeans at the bottom and finished the look with caramel suede chelsea boots.
