Posted: Oct 19 2016
Boots are a great addition to a lot of outfits all year round (except maybe the summer). It is, however, during the fall and winter time when they truly shine. Next to having a proper jacket, proper boots are incredibly important when it comes to this time of year. Similarly to premium jackets, you usually get what you pay for in this department. We will introduce you to several of our favourite styles this season.
Proper footwear is something you'll want to invest in this season. But having so many boot styles to choose from, it can be hard to pinpoint one style. This guide will give you a glimpse at a variety of mens shoe styles for fall and help you choose out a silhouette to rock this fall.

Chelsea boots have a long history. They date all the way back to 1851, when Queen Vctoria's shoemaker originally designed them. The style experienced wide adaptation in the 50s and 60s, especially in the UK. Chelsea boots are easily identifiable due to their elevated heel, pointed tip, and elasticized side panel. We recommend going with a pair of suede leather Chelsea boots for an on-trend look.

If you've bought yourself some chelsea boots this season, we recommend pairing them up with some slim or skinny jeans. Choose a pair of light-washed denim for a laid-back look or throw on some distressed jeans for a streetwear inspired look.
Hiking boots are a viable boot option when you’re out exploring nature and your foot needs some extra protection. You should not rule out this type of boot right away even though you may not be the outdoorsy type. These boots are a great choice even if you’re just navigating through the city streets or hitting up the local pub.
These boots are a great option if you want to look more formal this season. Inspired by their dress shoe counterpart (the regular brogue shoe), this winter ready version is just as timeless and twice as robust. Although these are a great option to look dressier, they look just as great with a pair of tight jeans and knitted sweater.
Chukka boots, also known as desert boots are great for the fall time. Their silhouette is anklehigh and the boots themselves usually come in leather or suede and feature rubber soles with two or three eyelets for lacing. The desert boot first gained popularity in the 40s – 60s and was most notably used for casual wear. Desert boots become widely popular again in recent years and continue to be a great option if you’re looking for a stylish boot.
