In our third hair tutorial, we show you how to achieve a re-styleable textured hair style. This is great if you want to add volume to your hair or achieve an effortless messy style.
Step 1: With finger, take out a quarter sized amount of product from Uppercut Deluxe Easy Hold.
Step 2: Spread product between palms.
Step 3: Lightly work product into hair with fingers.
Step 4: Scrunch hair to add volume. As product starts to dry in the hair, it will become more tacky and textured. This will enable the hair to hold its volume as you scrunch it.
Step 5: Using a matte finish hairspray, spray a light layer onto hair to ensure the volume does not flatten throughout the day (most common in humid climates). We recommend a product that easily brushes out of the hair like L'Oreal Elnett Satin Finish (Fragrance-free) Extra Strong Hold hairspray. This will keep the hair flexible (never crispy) and enable you to easily restyle your hair throughout the day (even with a comb).
Step 6: As the hairspray is drying, push up hair with fingers to add extra volume.
Step 7: Restyle hair as needed throughout the day. Use your fingers or a comb to change up your style. Uppercut Deluxe Easy Hold has a re-workable consistency even after drying. We love using the Uppercut Deluxe CT7 pocket comb, as the cover folds over the bristles to prevent any hair product from rubbing off in your pocket.
