We know the struggle to keep your collector's hats, snapbacks, and fitted caps pristine and clean. And yes, we have hat cages to pop our caps into the washing machine/dish washer, but the waste of water/energy for one wash cycle just for a couple hats is an issue. And worst of all, some of us don't have the space for those appliances in our living spaces. Enter the Tetra.
South Carolina-based appliance company, Heatworks introduced a brand new counter-top multi-purpose dishwasher/cooker at the latest Consumer Electronics Show. Named the Tetra, this space-saving appliance plugs into any regular electrical socket, holds up to 10 dishes or 12 pint glasses, and only uses half a gallon of water per load.
The Tetra connects to your smartphone, and uses Heatworks' patented Ohmic Array Technology to heat the minerals in water instead of using traditional metal heating elements. This allows you to control the water temperature more precisely, allowing you to wash fruits/veggies, dishes, hats, and also cook seafood at the perfect temperatures. Washing cycles take about 10 minutes, and the clear lid lets you know exactly what is going on in the washer.
The price of the Tetra will be less than $300USD and will be released in late 2018. Clean hats, dishes, and a seafood steam cooker that fits perfectly on your countertop? You're welcome.
